WE WON!!!!  I am deeply humbled at the amazing 76% victory, and know that it was not an individual achievement, but was truely a team win.  Thank you so much for being part of the Winder for Mayor Team and helping us roar across the finish line yesterday! 

 I was at lunch today and a friend said, “you know, I hate to tell you this, but I tend to judge the class of a candidate by how quickly they get their signs down.”  And you know, she is spot on.  We are working to get signs down as fast as possible, but inevitably will miss some that are not on the major corridors.  Please, if you see any signs anywhere, take them down and simply drop them on my front porch some time (4165 South 4400 West). 

 Thanks again for being part of the triumphant effort.  Now that the campaign is over, I begin to turn my thoughts to governing.  As you think of ideas for ways to make West Valley City a better place, please share them.  The fun begins January 4, 2010 with a swearing in ceremony at noon in the lobby of City Hall.  Feel free to stop by!
